Pumpkin was born August 16, 2018. He was taken from his mom only a few weeks later. All of the other kittens were adopted, he was going to be alone. Pumpkin is a little different, his right eye always is squinting, and when I first met him he had black stuff coming out of his nose and ears. At the shelter, Pumpkin would hide and sleep whenever he had visitors. Sometimes he didn’t act very “cat” like, he wasn’t playful and he didn’t move much. No one wanted him.

Finally, on November 3rd, I adopted him. The first night home was the hardest. He was so small and was scared of everyone. A few days later we took him to the vet and got him feeling better. Since then he has grown so much. He has a great personality- much different from how he was at the shelter.

Pumpkin isn’t normal. He loves car rides and new places; he gets really excited when he explores. He’ll follow you anywhere- even the shower. He’s fascinated with water and watching us cook. He’s so unique and special. He brings so much joy and laughter to our household. I’m so glad we made him part of our family. He’s my best friend and I wouldn’t trade him for anything. We love him so much.
